Danger Bearing


Question:
On September 28, 2002, you are located at 41°24.8'N and 71°10.0'W and intend to enter the Sakonnet River necessitating that you round Sakonnet Point and the off lying Schuyler Ledge with its shallows and rocks. To safely maneuver this turn, you select the Silo at Sachuest Point to setup a danger bearing. 

#1. From your present position, what is the danger bearing in degrees True?

#2. What is the danger bearing in degrees per ship's compass (psc)?

#3. As you proceed in, should you keep your bearing on the Silo greater or less than the danger bearing?
