~ A Cut Above ~

We received the following comments from Dwayne Boettcher who, along with Carla Meister, took our ASA118 Docking Class in July 2015:

~

The docking class exceeded our expectations. Frank Mummert was a great instructor. The boat and facility were in great shape. We spent most of our time on the water learning how to dock in various ways.  Captain Frank clearly explained what we were going to do, verified that I understood what we were going to do and patiently coached me through each exercise at least once before allowing me to attempt it without his coaching.  Everyone associated with the school was very courteous and professional.  The YouTube videos were particularly useful and confirmed that this was indeed a school for people serious in learning more about boat handling and seamanship. Attendance confirmed the school is what it claims to be.  I will recommend this as an option for those seeking to complete an ASA course or just improve their sailing skills.
