Docking Practice 2008 (live aboard)

Docking a large cruising boat safely and without damage can be a daunting task especially when the wind decides to blow 20 knots during the process. Bow sprits and marriages are often broken or severely damaged in the process. We've designed a hands-on docking practice program on an Island Packet sailing yacht to help all cruising sailors, whether experienced or beginner, to learn the best methods for docking.

Students with ASA101 certification who successfully complete this course and written exam will receive the ASA Docking Endorsement certificate.

Two-day sessions are scheduled  aboard an Island Packet 32 foot sailing yacht on the following dates:

Apr 21-22 July 11-12 Oct 11-12
Apr 26-27 Jul 26-27 Oct 25-26
May 10-11 Aug 9-10 Oct 29-30
May 24-25 Sept 6-7

Fee: $475 includes Workbook and ASA certificate
