Jeff Papps holds
a USCG Ocean Masters License and started sailing as a youngster on
Chesapeake Bay and Marblehead, MA where he perfected his racing skills
in the International One Design class. Since 1983 his professional career
has included positions from Deckhand through Captain on deliveries of yachts
to 100 ft to various locations from Canada to Panama and the Caribbean.
Jeff owns a 27 ft sailboat in Miami and always returns to his first love
of sailing after completing a delivery cruise; he recently started a new
company which will manufacture and supply specialized web tapes to sailmakers.
Jeff teaches at our intermediate and advanced ocean levles.
