This was an Advanced Coastal Training Cruise around the DELMARVA peninsula scheduled for September 3-10, 1999 aboard AVISE LA FIN, an Island Packet 37 foot sailing yacht. Crew included Captain David Appleton from Pennsylvania, Art Downey from Maryland, Bruce Bailey from North Carilina, Stan Levin from Maryland and Bob & Nancy Suloman from Maryland. This cruise was cancelled due to Hurricane Dennis lurking just to the south of our area and was the first class cancellation we’ve had in nine years of sailing instruction!  |
