~ A Cut Above ~

We received this email from Glenn Dill who completed our ASA 106 Mystic, CT to Rock Hall, MD advanced coastal training cruise in September 2007:

I thought you might appreciate some feedback on Captain Kliment and be able to pass it on.  I just completed the 106 course from Mystic to Rock Hall (Aug 1-8) with Capt Joe and 4 other crew members including my brother Kevin.  My opinion is that Capt Joe is a superb combination of knowledgeable seaman and patient instructor.  He maintains a warm, friendly approach without sacrificing discipline where it is important.  I was not elected as the spokesman for our crew.  But, I do know from offline discussions at the pub that my feelings were universally held by the crew.  We said this to him.  But, it is also important for the school staff to hear it directly.

I hope that the MD school continues to benefit from his participation in the future.

Best regards.
Glenn Dill
