~ A Cut Above ~

Richard Hamel, who took our ASA103 course in June 2018, sent the following note:

~

The ASA 103 was a great class and perfect number of students (4) on the size boat and instructor. Everything was hands on and each student was able to participate in every drill/procedure for direct knowledge of all stations on the boat.  Captain Bauer was a wonderful instructor, knowledgeable and forthcoming with answers to any and all questions. She helped to give the us confidence in making proper decisions, and provided clear instructions on how to performs our tasks. There was a married couple onboard and she paired them up on certain tasks so they could get used to working each other for later on, and yet she did not exclude myself or the other student onboard. She was a great instructor and I would sail with her again at any time. She was such a pleasure.
