~ A Cut Above ~

John Leighton, who took our ASA105 Coastal Navigation online class in January-February 2017, sent the following note

The online experience met and even exceeded my expectations. I had previously completed ASA107 on my own as a home-study course. I got through it - but it was quite a challenge. The online teaching by Tom Tursi greatly improves the understanding and retention of material learned by reading and homework problem-solving.

Tom Tursi does a great job of "meeting you where you are" - that is - accepting students at their current level and patiently helping them learn and increase their knowledge. I especially appreciate this trait since it is one that I struggle with a good bit! I try to be patient, but it's hard! Thank you, Tom!=
