~ A Cut Above ~

Captain Andy Barton was phenomenal! I appreciated both his no-nonsense approach to learning to sail, pushing us to dive right in and learn by doing, which he paired with a real confidence that we would all be successful. I think he had more faith in me than I had in myself and it really spurred me to try harder and do better! He is clearly a very skilled sailor, but also a gifted teacher. I have already highly recommended him to others who are considering taking a class. Thank you Captain Barton!  I still can't believe I was at the helm of a 32-foot sailboat. I feel such a sense of accomplishment and can't wait to come back again! I could have sailed for days more.  The Staff was great from start to finish! I also appreciated Tom's coming out to say hello and see how we were all doing and congratulate us on our accomplishment.
