David Schrump, who took our ASA101, 103, 104 and 118 courses in 2019, sent the following comments:

The ASA 104 Training Cruise was an outstanding course.  There was only one other student so we had plenty of time to hone our skills, learn the navigation aspects of the course, as well as get to know each other.  Because we were all constantly engaged with each maneuver, I am now quite comfortable with the skills necessary for safe coastal cruising.  Captain Doug (Riley) is a quiet, patient, and very competent captain/instructor.  Because he is not from this area, we had to really rely on our charts and our navigation, which he had us complete.  This made the experience very worthwhile.  It was a pleasure sailing with him.
