Chip Lohman

 

Chip Lohman is an ASA Certified Sailing Instructor for 101 through 104 classes and holds a USCG Inland Captain’s License. A former teacher, Chip is also an American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) Certified Electrician and Corrosion Tech and holds an Extra Class Radio License. He began sailing in the early 80’s in San Diego, the Inter Coastal Waterway to the Carolinas, and now calls the Potomac and Chesapeake his home waters. A former Marine of 25 years, Chip became a Sales & Marketing manager in the telecommunications industry, leaving AT&T in 2006. He and his wife Pam sail their Ericson 33 sloop WHISPERING SWAN out of Quantico, VA on the Potomac. The proud parents of Genifer and Gene Lohman, their first grandchild is Eugene A. Lohman V.
