~ A Cut Above ~

Frank Mummert

Frank Mummert started boating in the mid 80s, and switched from power boats to sail after meeting his wife in 2001.  He had been in the Navy for fifteen years and she had been a competitive swimmer in southern California, so it was natural that they buy a sailboat when they needed a place to live.  Frank currently holds his 50 ton master's license and is certified to teach through ASA106, as well as Radar and Docking endorsements.  In addition, he is an Emergency Medical Technician and holds an amateur radio General license. Frank received the ASA Outstanding Instructor Award for the Year 2016.
